Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our vibrant team as Glass Collectors in Gladstone. This role is perfect for someone looking for dynamic night work in a lively pub/club environment, offering a fantastic opportunity to be part of a great social scene. As a crucial member of our operational team, you’ll ensure our venue remains clean, safe, and enjoyable for all patrons. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent entry point into the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting and clearing glasses, bottles, and general refuse from public areas and tables.
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the bar, floor, and communal areas throughout shifts.
- Emptying bins and ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Assisting bar staff and other team members as required.
- Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Interacting positively and courteously with patrons and colleagues.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work late nights and weekends.
- Physical fitness to lift and carry trays of glasses.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role (not essential, but a plus).
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Local knowledge of Gladstone.
