Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and physically fit individuals to join our team as Scaffolder’s Assistants in Launceston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the construction industry, offering casual day shifts with a focus on high-quality work. As a Scaffolder’s Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced scaffolding teams, learning valuable skills, and contributing to the safe and efficient erection and dismantling of scaffolding structures on various project sites. Full training will be provided to the right candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified scaffolders in the safe and efficient erection and dismantling of scaffolding structures.
- Handle, move, and organise scaffolding components and materials.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety procedures and regulations.
- Perform general labouring duties as required to support the team.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Learn and apply basic scaffolding principles and techniques.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding manual labour.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliability and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Australian White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Current Driver's License and reliable transport.
- Previous experience in a labouring or construction-related role (highly regarded but not essential).
