Job Description

Visy Industries is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals for an Entry Level Mill Hand position in Geelong. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to equip you with all the necessary skills. This role is ideal for physically fit candidates who are keen to learn, committed to safety, and ready to contribute to a productive team. You will play a crucial role in the operation of our mill, supporting various processes from material handling to quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and movement of raw materials and finished products.
- Operate basic machinery and equipment under supervision after receiving training.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Conduct quality checks on materials and products, reporting any inconsistencies.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines diligently.
- Support skilled operators and team members in various mill operations as required.
