Job Description

No prior bus driving experience is required – we provide comprehensive, fully paid training to help you gain your PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) license and become a professional bus driver. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a bus on designated routes, adhering to schedules and timetables.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting passengers with inquiries, managing boarding, and ensuring a pleasant journey for all.
- Collect fares, issue tickets, and handle transactions accurately using electronic ticketing systems.
- Conduct thorough pre-service vehicle checks and promptly report any mechanical defects or issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a friendly, approachable demeanor when interacting with the public.
- Assist passengers with special needs, including wheelchair users, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Manage unexpected situations such as traffic delays or diversions with professionalism and clear communication.
Required Skills
- Full UK driving license (Category B) held for a minimum of 2 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
- A responsible, reliable, and safety-conscious approach to driving and passenger care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Aged 18 or over due to Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) licensing requirements.

- Previous experience in a customer-facing role or service industry.
