Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented E-commerce Personalization Engraver to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art laser engraving machines to personalise a wide range of products for our online customers. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship to contribute to our bespoke product offerings. Full training on our specific machinery and software will be provided, but prior experience with similar equipment or precision work is highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain laser engraving machines to personalise various materials (e.g., wood, metal, acrylic, leather) according to customer specifications.
- Prepare design files using specific software for engraving, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Perform quality control checks on engraved items to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Manage production workflow, prioritising orders to meet shipping deadlines.
- Load and unload materials, and set up machines for different jobs.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines for machine operation.
Required Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience operating laser engravers or similar precision machinery.
- Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW).
- Experience in a production, manufacturing, or e-commerce environment.
- An understanding of different material properties and how they react to engraving.
