Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Gated Community Security Guard to join our team in Orton Goldhay, Peterborough. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who values a comfortable, sit-down role within a welcoming environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residents and property within an exclusive gated community. Your primary duties will involve access control, monitoring CCTV, and providing a visible, reassuring presence. This position emphasizes strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to maintaining a secure and pleasant atmosphere for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control access points for vehicles and pedestrians entering and exiting the community.
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarms, responding promptly to any suspicious activity or incidents.
- Conduct regular patrols (foot or vehicle) within the community to maintain a visible security presence.
- Greet residents and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor, assisting with inquiries as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of all incidents, visitors, and deliveries.
- Enforce community rules and regulations to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
- Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and security breaches, coordinating with emergency services as required.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing concerns and escalating issues appropriately.
