Job Description
Are you a night owl with a keen eye for detail? IGA in Trois-Rivières is looking for a dedicated Night Shift Shelf Facer to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring our store aisles are impeccably organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing for our morning shoppers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys a fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload delivery trucks, verifying contents against invoices.
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure proper product placement according to planograms.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor aisles.
- Monitor product expiry dates and remove expired or damaged goods.
- Assist with inventory management and tracking.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely (training provided).
- Ensure compliance with all store policies and safety procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull merchandise regularly.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment is an asset but not required.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
