Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable Industrial Bag Filler to join our dynamic team in Port Hedland. This is an entry-level position offering top pay for individuals committed to hard work and safety. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the role. As an Industrial Bag Filler, you will play a crucial role in our production line, responsible for the precise filling, sealing, and preparation of various industrial bags for shipment. This role requires excellent physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to adhering to all safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial bagging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor bag filling processes to ensure accurate weights and proper material flow.
- Manually lift, position, and stack bags weighing up to 25kg repeatedly throughout shifts.
- Perform quality checks on filled bags, ensuring proper sealing and labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Conduct pre-start checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including PPE requirements.
- Assist with other general warehouse or production duties as required.
Required Skills
- Exceptional physical fitness and stamina for repetitive heavy lifting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to understand instructions and labels.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- No prior experience required – full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehousing, manufacturing, or industrial setting (not mandatory).
- Current Forklift Operator's license (LF class) or willingness to obtain one.
- Knowledge of basic machinery operation or maintenance.
