Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Part-time Kitchen Steward to join our dynamic culinary team for evening shifts. As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation in our kitchen and food preparation areas. This ongoing position is perfect for someone who is looking for consistent evening work, takes pride in a clean workspace, and is eager to support a busy kitchen operation. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent entry point into the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing and sanitising dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, and pans.
- Operating and maintaining dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and work surfaces, are clean and hygienic.
- Assisting with the proper storage and organisation of kitchen equipment and supplies.
- Emptying rubbish bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
- Supporting the culinary team by assisting with basic food preparation tasks when required.
- Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
