Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Online Community Engagement Officer to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere in Australia. You will be instrumental in cultivating and nurturing thriving online communities around Atlassian’s products and initiatives. Your mission will be to foster positive interactions, provide support, gather feedback, and create an inclusive environment where users feel valued and connected. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a genuine interest in building meaningful online relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and moderate online forums, social media groups, and other community platforms.
  • Respond to user inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and implement engagement strategies to increase participation and interaction within the community.
  • Create engaging content (e.g., discussions, polls, events) to stimulate conversation.
  • Identify and cultivate community champions and influencers.
  • Report on community growth, sentiment, and key metrics to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to relay community insights and feedback.

  • Understanding of community metrics and analytics.
