Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic team in Cardiff. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring pricing strategies across our product portfolio. You will leverage data analysis, statistical modeling, and market insights to ensure our pricing remains competitive, profitable, and aligned with our business objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets to identify pricing trends, customer behaviors, and market opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated pricing models and tools using statistical techniques.
  • Monitor competitor pricing activities and market conditions to inform strategic adjustments.
  • Collaborate with actuarial, product development, and sales teams to implement new pricing structures.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on pricing performance and recommendations for senior management.
  • Evaluate the impact of pricing changes on key business metrics such as sales, retention, and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal pricing governance policies.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects related to pricing optimization and business intelligence.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Excellent numerical aptitude and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pricing, data analysis, or actuarial role, preferably within financial services or insurance.
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SAS) or SQL.
  • Familiarity with insurance pricing principles and products.
