Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Scrap Yard Vehicle Dismantler to join our dynamic team in Erith. This is a hands-on role involving the safe and efficient dismantling of end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) using various hand and power tools. While the work can be dirty and physically demanding, it’s a crucial part of our recycling process. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided to ensure you gain the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely dismantle end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) according to company procedures.
  • Identify and remove valuable components and hazardous materials (e.g., oils, fuels, batteries, tires).
  • Operate various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Sort and categorize dismantled parts and materials for further processing or recycling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with the movement of vehicles and materials within the scrap yard as required.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
