Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Site Cleaner within the bustling construction industry in Parramatta. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals looking to start a career in construction site maintenance. We are specifically offering ‘White Card Help,’ meaning if you don’t have this essential construction industry safety certification, we will guide and support you through the process of obtaining it. Your main responsibility will be to ensure construction sites are kept clean, tidy, and safe, contributing to an efficient and hazard-free working environment for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties on active construction sites, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Remove construction debris, waste materials, and rubbish from designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of site facilities such as lunchrooms, toilets, and offices.
- Operate basic cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety regulations and company policies.
- Report any hazards, damage, or maintenance needs to site management.
- Assist with the proper disposal and recycling of materials where applicable.
Required Skills
- Ability to obtain a White Card (Construction Induction Card) with our support.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety principles (training provided).
