Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and curious User Research (UXR) Intern to join our growing team. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of user research within a fast-paced tech startup environment. You will work closely with experienced UXR professionals, product managers, and designers to contribute to the understanding of user needs, behaviors, and motivations. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals eager to learn and grow in the field of user experience research.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of various user research activities, including interviews, surveys, usability tests, and ethnographic studies.
- Help prepare research materials such as interview guides, questionnaires, and prototypes for testing.
- Support data collection efforts, including note-taking during user sessions and survey distribution.
- Contribute to the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, identifying key themes, patterns, and insights.
- Assist in synthesizing research findings into clear, actionable recommendations for product and design teams.
- Help create and present research reports and presentations to internal stakeholders.
- Learn and apply best practices in user research methodologies and ethical considerations.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with design thinking principles or user-centered design concepts.
- Basic understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
