Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Virtual Civil Service Recruiter to join our dedicated team. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in identifying, attracting, and onboarding qualified candidates for various civil service positions across federal, state, and local government agencies. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruiter passionate about public service and talent acquisition to make a significant impact from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for civil service roles, from sourcing to offer negotiation.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
- Conduct thorough candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers and provide expert consultation on market trends and recruitment best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Participate in virtual career fairs and recruitment events as needed.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Randstad and our client organizations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in full-cycle recruitment, preferably within the public sector or government contracting.
- Strong understanding of civil service hiring processes and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Experience recruiting for a variety of civil service roles (e.g., administrative, IT, technical, public safety).
- Familiarity with government background check procedures and security clearances.
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
