Job Description
Join the XPO Logistics team as a Full-Time, Permanent Warehouse Picker Packer in Savannah, Georgia! This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals with no prior experience in a warehouse setting. We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals eager to learn and grow within our logistics operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment, contributing directly to our customer satisfaction. Full training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using an RF scanner or pick sheets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently according to company standards.
- Verify product quantities and ensure accuracy of orders.
- Prepare items for shipping, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, as trained and certified (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team setting.
