Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Workplace Experience Intern to join our Employee Engagement team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resources, internal communications, and organizational development within a leading healthcare system. You will support initiatives aimed at enhancing employee satisfaction, fostering a positive workplace culture, and helping to create an environment where every team member feels valued and engaged. This role is designed for an aspiring professional eager to learn and contribute to meaningful projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement events, recognition programs, and internal communication campaigns.
- Help administer employee surveys, gather feedback, and contribute to the analysis of results.
- Support the creation of engaging content for internal newsletters, intranet, and other communication channels.
- Conduct research on best practices in employee engagement and workplace experience to inform future initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to the HR and Employee Engagement teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and maintaining records.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure a consistent and positive employee journey.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute fresh ideas to ongoing projects.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
- Demonstrated interest in human resources, communications, or organizational development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Previous experience (volunteer or paid) in an office setting or coordinating events.
- Familiarity with survey tools or internal communication platforms.
- A passion for creating positive workplace environments and employee well-being.
