Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our Radiology Department as an X-Ray / Radiology File Clerk. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone looking to start a career in hospital administration. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of patient records and imaging files, supporting our clinical team and contributing to the smooth operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize patient X-ray and radiology files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Retrieve and file patient records promptly for appointments and clinical reviews.
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of the department's electronic filing systems.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries for the radiology department.
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff, patients, and other departments.
- Maintain a tidy and organized filing area.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, especially regarding patient data privacy.
- Assist with general administrative duties as required to support departmental operations.
