Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bail Bonds Administrative Clerk to join our team in Naperville, IL. This is a unique opportunity to work within the legal support industry, providing crucial administrative assistance in a fast-paced, shift-based environment. As an Administrative Clerk, you will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities and supporting our agents and clients. The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Due to the nature of our business, this position will involve shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, offering a dynamic schedule for those who thrive outside of traditional office hours. Full training on our specific procedures and the bail bond process will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize client files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Answer multi-line phones, direct inquiries, and provide information to clients and legal professionals.
- Process bail bond applications and related paperwork efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information and company records.
- Assist bail agents with administrative tasks, scheduling, and data entry.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, email, and faxes.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, copying, and maintaining office supplies.
- Verify information, conduct background checks, and assist with warrant searches as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Capacity to adapt to a shift-based schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous administrative or clerical experience, ideally in a legal or public safety setting.
