Job Description
Join the DoorDash team as an independent Home Delivery Driver in Gulfport, MS! This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work that fits around their schedule. As a Dasher, you’ll use your own car or scooter to pick up orders from local restaurants and businesses and deliver them directly to customers’ doors. No prior professional driving experience is required; we’re looking for reliable individuals with a valid driver’s license and a passion for customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Navigate to restaurants and businesses to pick up food and other items.
- Safely and efficiently deliver orders to customers' specified locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Manage delivery times efficiently to ensure timely customer service.
- Represent DoorDash professionally during all interactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle/scooter.
- Communicate effectively with customers and DoorDash support as needed.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license (or equivalent for scooter).
- Access to a reliable car or scooter with valid insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Smartphone with data plan.
- Age 18 or older.
- Ability to lift and carry delivery bags (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with the Gulfport area.
