Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Seasonal Picker & Packers to join our dynamic team at the Goulburn Distribution Centre for the upcoming Christmas and Peak Season. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for temporary work, eager to contribute to a fast-paced retail environment, and who thrive in a team-oriented setting. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided. You will play a vital role in ensuring products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch to our network of stores, helping us deliver a seamless shopping experience to millions of Australians during our busiest time of the year.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures and quality standards
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided)
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety guidelines
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as required
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines
- Handle products with care to prevent damage and ensure product integrity
- Communicate effectively with team leaders and colleagues
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good physical stamina, capable of standing, lifting, and moving items
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting (desirable but not essential)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport to Goulburn Distribution Centre
- Forklift license (LF) or Order Picker (LO) (highly regarded, but training can be provided)
