Key Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas within Hackney to enforce parking restrictions and regulations.
- Issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) accurately and impartially to vehicles in contravention.
- Provide clear and helpful information to the public regarding parking regulations and local amenities.
- Report incidents, environmental issues, and abandoned vehicles as per established procedures.
- Operate handheld electronic devices for recording contraventions and managing data.
- Assist in managing traffic flow during special events or disruptions as required.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents.
Required Skills
- Excellent observational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with the public and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and manage a designated patrol area efficiently.
- Resilience and tact when dealing with challenging situations or confrontational individuals.
- Basic IT literacy to operate handheld devices and complete digital records.

- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a public-facing role or enforcement capacity.
- Good knowledge of the Hackney area and its road network.
- A full, clean UK driving license.
- Basic first aid certification.
