Job Description

The Minnesota Department of Revenue is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Remote Fraud Investigator Trainee. Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all required training programs to develop expertise in fraud investigation techniques, state laws, and agency policies.
  • Assist senior investigators with research and data collection for ongoing cases.
  • Learn to analyze financial documents, digital records, and other evidence to identify patterns of fraudulent behavior.
  • Develop skills in preparing clear and concise reports documenting investigative findings.
  • Understand and adhere to all ethical guidelines and legal requirements pertaining to investigations.
  • Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and investigative materials.
  • Utilize various investigative tools and databases under supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders as directed.
