Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to join our dynamic Supply Chain team in Portland, OR. This role is crucial in optimizing inventory levels across our distribution network, ensuring product availability while minimizing carrying costs. As an Inventory Analyst, you will utilize data analysis to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels across various warehouses and distribution centers.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, slow-moving items, and potential stock-outs.
  • Develop and maintain inventory reports and dashboards to provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with planning, procurement, and logistics teams to optimize inventory flow.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of inventory forecasting models.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for inventory inaccuracies and implement corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain and inventory management processes.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a related analytical role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Familiarity with inventory optimization techniques and tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages.
