Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of contract management, from negotiation and drafting to execution and compliance, specifically within our construction and technology integration projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal frameworks in both sectors, excellent negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to risk management. Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and administer a wide range of contracts, including construction agreements, vendor contracts, technology licensing agreements, and service agreements.
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and project-specific needs.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks, providing clear recommendations to project teams and senior management.
- Manage contract disputes and claims effectively, aiming for timely and favorable resolutions.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, legal counsel, finance, and technical teams to ensure contract terms align with project objectives and deliverables.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, ensuring all parties adhere to agreed-upon terms and conditions.
- Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract interpretation and best practices.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contracts management, with significant exposure to construction and/or technology sectors.
- Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex contracts.
- Strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology, and risk management principles.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Certification in Contract Management (e.g., CCCM, CPCM).
- Experience with international contracts and cross-border project management.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management frameworks in a tech environment.
- Previous experience with visa sponsorship processes for international employees.
