Job Description
Are you a compassionate and empathetic individual looking to start a rewarding career in care? Mears Group is seeking dedicated Domiciliary Care Workers to join our team in Cheltenham. No previous experience is required as full, comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you have all the skills and confidence needed to excel in this vital role. Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support to clients in their own homes.
- Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medication following training and care plans.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Provide companionship and engage in activities to promote well-being.
- Assist with light household duties and maintain a safe, clean environment.
- Support clients with mobility, including transfers and moving around their home.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes.
- Travel between client homes efficiently and safely.
Required Skills

- Willingness to learn and commit to ongoing training.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or care-related role (desirable but not essential).
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards one).
