Job Description

We are seeking a highly meticulous and dedicated Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Data Entry professional to join our operations team in Eastbourne. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and verifying sensitive customer and transaction data, playing a vital part in our compliance efforts against financial crime. Your commitment to detail and accuracy will directly support our regulatory adherence and contribute to maintaining the integrity of our banking processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and verify customer information, transaction details, and other compliance-related data into internal systems.
  • Review and cross-reference documentation for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established AML policies and procedures.
  • Identify and promptly escalate any discrepancies, inconsistencies, or potential red flags in data to the relevant AML compliance teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all data entry activities and documentation.
  • Strictly adhere to all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations, internal compliance guidelines, and data protection protocols.
  • Ensure the highest level of confidentiality and security for all sensitive customer and company information.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure data quality and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficiency in using data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Basic understanding of banking or financial processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clarifying information.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a data entry, administrative, or clerical role.
  • Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) principles.
  • Prior experience working in a financial services or banking sector.
