Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Road Toll Support Officer to join our Infrastructure Service team in Bunbury. This vital role involves providing comprehensive support to road users regarding tolling systems, inquiries, and related services. You will be the primary point of contact for resolving customer issues, processing payments, and ensuring the smooth operation of our toll infrastructure from a customer service perspective. This position requires strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding road toll accounts, charges, and payment options.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for common tolling system issues experienced by users.
  • Process payments, manage account updates, and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system.
  • Liaise with internal technical and engineering teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Educate road users on tolling procedures, system functionalities, and available support resources.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer service processes and tolling system efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements related to road tolling.
