Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Bespoke Tailor / Alterations Assistant to join our dedicated team in Weston-super-Mare. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality garment alterations and customisation services to our valued customers. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tailoring tasks, from basic repairs to complex garment adjustments, ensuring every item meets our exacting standards of craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and high-quality alterations on a wide range of garments, including suits, dresses, trousers, and coats.
- Conduct client fittings, offering expert advice on garment adjustments and fit.
- Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines and other tailoring equipment.
- Carry out garment repairs such as mending, re-lining, and button replacement.
- Manage workflow efficiently to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
Required Skills
- Proficient in operating domestic and industrial sewing machines.
- Strong understanding of garment construction and alteration techniques.

Preferred Qualifications
