Key Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or in vehicle to ensure the safety and security of premises and personnel.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment, and access points.
- Deter unauthorized access or activity by maintaining a visible presence.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Write detailed reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Enforce property rules and regulations.
- Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain a valid Security Guard License (company will sponsor and pay for training).
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and patrol assigned areas.
- Strong ethical character and integrity.
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation.
- No prior experience required; full training provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer service experience.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations.
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
