Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented E-commerce Personalization Engraver to join our production team. In this on-site role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced laser engraving machines to personalize a wide variety of e-commerce products. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with precision machinery and contributing to the creation of unique custom goods. Full training on our specific laser engraving equipment and personalization software will be provided. Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain laser engraving machines according to established safety and operational procedures.
- Prepare materials and products for engraving, ensuring proper alignment and setup.
- Accurately interpret order specifications and design files to ensure correct personalization.
- Perform routine quality checks on engraved items to ensure they meet VistaPrint's high standards.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic preventive maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Document production data and report any issues or discrepancies.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with digital interfaces.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow precise instructions and work with accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Comfortable working in a production environment with machinery.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or printing environment.
- Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW) at a basic level.
- Prior experience operating CNC machines, laser engravers, or similar industrial equipment (even hobbyist).
- Technical aptitude and a willingness to learn new machinery and software quickly.
- Experience in quality control or assurance.
